The United Arab Emirates' Department of Economy and Tourism will assist Curacao in the training of tourism employees. Curacao government signed many agreement during the Dubai Expo 2020 this year.    AGREEMENTS Curinde and the International Organization for Free Zones: World Free zone Organization, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Curinde will be the point of contact for this organization in Curacao, it has been agreed. Curinde, in turn, receives advice from them in the areas of automation and robotization. According tot heir description: "Curinde provides professional seamless support and qualitative facilities to parties interested in operating in the Curacao Airport Free Economic Zone or the Curacao Harbor Free Economic Zone or the Industrial Park Brievengat at the most competitive terms."  Several enterprises want to establish themselves in Curacao, according to sources, including the maritime company Van Oord, which is interested in participating in the Living Lab on the refinery site. Van Oord is a Dutch family-owned company with over 150 years of experience as an international marine contractor. A Memorandum of Understanding was also inked with the Dubai Multi Commodities Center in order to explore trading potential.  According to an announcement on January 21st, last year, "In ten years Curacao is expected to play a leading role in the field of renewable energy, and in twenty years it should be a major exporter of renewable energy in the Caribbean. To achieve this ambition, a Living Lab, in which the government of Curacao, TNO and the University of Curacao (UoC) will collaborate with Dutch and Curacao companies, is being built. The participating organisations have announced this in a joint statement. Besides Van Oord, participating organisations from the Netherlands are the Port of Rotterdam Authority, Damen Shipyards, high-tech company VDL Groep and storage company Vopak. The Curacao-based ones are the Refineria di Kòrsou (RdK) oil refinery, Aqualectra water and energy company, Selikor waste disposal company, and the ABC bus company."
