During an interview, Curacao former minister of Justice and now member of Parliament: Mr. Quincy Girigorie (political party PAR), expressed his concerns regarding the lack of respect for Parliament within the government. Girigorie also explained, that the Prime Minister, should talk to parliament about the concept law COHO.. THE INTERVIEW After it was announced that the government had sign an implementation agenda document (Uitvoeringsagenda) with the Netherlands, apparently without consulting Parliament about it, Girigorie gave his reaction and stated: “Once more, it show that there is no respect for Curacao Parliament! For me to give you a tip, with COHO, the government must come to Parliament, before they sign the Execution Report (Uitvoeringsrapportage). Why do we need to let COHO tell us, how we must treat our Parliament, can we ourselves respect our own Parliament? Would it not be in place, for Mr. Pisas to explain to Parliament, what does this implementation agenda document entail before he went to sign it with Mrs. van Huffelen in the Netherlands? That is how it is arranged inside of COHO.
