PRIME MINISTER GILMAR "PIK" PISAS WILL BE ANSWERING TO PARLIAMENT

Willemstad, Curacao. Curacao Prime Minister: Mr. Gilmar "Pik" Pisas will go to Curacao Parliament to discuss the COHO consensus law (proposed by the Netherlands government) and answer questions he received from Parliament (5 months ago).
PARLIAMENT QUESTIONS
The parliament requested a public meeting and a meeting of the central commission since August last year (2021). The central commission was convened last year in November, where the Prime Minister went to Parliament and took questions from Members of Parliament about the COHO process. So far, Parliament has not received the answers to its questions. The government agreed with COHO in February without answering questions from Parliament.
OFFICIALS WHO NEGOTIATED THE COHO LAW
On April 21, at 9 am, the meeting of the Central Commission with the Prime Minister will resume. On April 22 at 9 am, presentation of officials on the COHO law. These officials were the ones who negotiated COHO at the political level. Mr. John de Lannoy, Mrs. Iliana Schotborgh and Mrs. Jennifer Fer. On April 29, at 9 am, a Public Meeting will take place in Parliament, for deliberation with the Prime Minister on the COHO law. Currently, the COHO law does not seem to have the majority support in parliament to become law.
