According to the inmates of the Curacao Centre for Correction and Detention (SDKK) Sentro di Detenshon i Korekshon Kòrsou) prison, the meals they receive in prison are substandard. According to the inmates, the meals they receive are also bland and with little variation. By law, inmates are entitled to three (3) meals a day. The Minister of Justice: Mr. Shalten Hato (MFK political party), spoke with the director of the SDKK in response to these complaints. The minister and the director discussed how to solve the problem in a sustainable way.
