Willemstad Curacao. It appears that the Curacao Minister of Health, Environment and Nature; Suzanne (Suzy) Camelia-Römer (political party PIN) has given people/groups involved with the Health care and building process of the New Hospital Otrobanda (HNO) also called the Curacao Medical Center (CMC) "MEDIA STILTE" status, which appears to be meaning that it is a period of silence in which there is no communication from those directly involved about the St. Elisabeth Hospital (SEHOS) and HNO/CMC matters being discussed.

In an interview with local media, Curacao former Minister of Health, Environment and Nature and Parliament opposition member (political party MFK); Jacinta Constancia said the following towards the situation of SEHOS, CMC and Suzy Camelia-Römer:


For more than 163 years, St. Elisabeth has been offering care to the people, and in every occasion, they indicated what was the budget to do that.

They have never gotten the necessary money to do it optimally.

Still, they did the necessary trajectories, to give care.

We all remembered; that we; (SEHOS); was not able to adapt to the tariffs.

We all remembered; how many times, in the past we also needed to invest in the basic infrastructure so St. Elisabeth could stay functioning.

So, we still stay believing that there must be a guarantee on the care that is being given at St. Elisabeth Hospital, for the transition of the new hospital.

And, yesterday I spoke about it with the group at CMC, which by the way gave us a rounded tour.

If you won't do the thing according to stipulated rules, the place that you call "Cachipin" that you call St. Elisabeth Hospital, that needs to keep giving care; will find itself in trouble.

But, you; (Suzy Camelia-Romer); as well in Lamborghini, that the minister say that is the new CMC, would not be able to do the transaction accordingly.

The fact is that, if you come up with "Midia Stilte", it means that the group will be quiet, but the danger is in existence.
Because, I will be quite, but I am not getting the investments so I can give care.
And that is putting the whole process of St. Elisabeth Hospital being able to give care in danger, waiting for the new hospital to be finish...
