HUMAN RIGHTS CRISES ON THE DUTCH ISLAND OF CURACAO, IT IS OLD NEWS?

Willemstad, Curacao. The Venezuelan Refugees and Human Rights crises on the Dutch Island of Curacao, has open many of eyes about the dark perception of the island governance and its' Justice system.

After the initial Venezuelan exodus for a better way of life, the world have seen one of the biggest human right violations accusation on Curacao towards the Venezuelan.

There apparently were many atrocities and violations of basic and fundamental human rights! However; the sadden part many Curasalenos exclaimed is, that it appears that The Dutch Caribbean Island of Curacao justice system has allowed human rights violations for a longer period that some may even be aware of.

THE 2011 HELMIN WIELS INTERVIEW.

In an interview published on February 24th 2011, from the 2013 assassinated politician; Helmin Wiels; who expressed how the Curacao justice system behave towards abuse in the community when those with power abuse others and abuse the rights of others via their flagrant misuse and abuse of the legal system.

The Former Parliamentarian and politically assassinated leader of Pueblo Soberano; Helmin Wiels said the following on Feb 2011:

"They (the Chinese); for the most part they do not pay tax on the products that they sell, opposite of what always was happening. The commerce used to buy the products from agencies, via salesmen and saleswomen and they do orders. In any case, this generation, do not buy via agencies. Even if they go to the agency, it is to buy some containers. Between themselves; they distribute among themselves, they themselves have trucks; they themselves have the refrigerated trucks."

"Their deposits are either illegal, because there is no control on health and sanitary from GGD; (The Ministry of Health Department); and The Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature or nothing."

"There are clandestine bakeries, and they; (the Chinese); buy bread only from each other.

So, the local bakeries, that are controlled by the Medical, Health and Healthcare Services; GGD, that do pay taxes, that do have local workers are losing sales, because they (the Chinese) are baking bread in the garages, in houses, behind the stores, in the "kunuku" (fields or backyards) and these type of things.

These things, that they buy, they buy these (products) from each other."

"So, the way of doing business in this country, must change drastically.

That is why, you can see today that the majority of Portuguese that always had a "toko"; (small food store), mini market etc.. decided to give up and surrender (capitulate), and sell their property because they cannot be competitive and compete."

Reporter: "But Mr. Wiels, among all of this, you've mentioned, different things like, there is no permits or that it is illegal, and so, where is some control? Because, if it is happening, then, this was allowed to happen, right?"

Wiels: "That is were I will go! In the last 10 years, what is going on in this country is that, it was allowed for every nationality and type of person to enter without any type of control.

We took a look at it and that is why, we must put an end to this thing, because, we are here to defend what is ours. However, naturally; if an unknown person wanted to come into our country and wanted to do business, but they need to follow our rules."

"Certainly, we are not against investors, like some businessman, let us call him a "Commerce Man", but, he is NO Commerce Man.

We are against people who want to deceive our economy."

"And what is going on right now is a great deception on the economy because, you will not see serious investment. However, what do you see is Capital Theft. There is no control on this country's commerce or economy, nor on the products that the people consume (ingest), therefore, the people's health and the nation's health is also at risk."

Reporter: "I understood that Mr. Wiels also spoke about prostitution."

Wiels: "Of course!"

Reporter:  "Where is this happening/going on? Prostitution of Minors; (Paedophilic Prostitution)?"

Wiels: "Look, we have explained this on different occasions, and it is not just now!"

"Already there has been some years where Chinese children are being used in prostitution, in clandestine nightclubs."

"Where normally, you don't see people outside the clandestine nightclub, but you see a lot of cars throughout the neighborhoods. Everyone knows about these things, because we explained this on many different occasions."

"The Authorities also knows about this, and that is why they rolled up the Bandits; (outlaws or criminals); of Asians, Mafia that traffic children, putting children in prostitution, clandestine casinos in the neighborhoods, everyone knows where these are located, The Authorities knows also!"

"But; what is going on is that, when The Authorities put their hands on them, from absolutely nowhere, the Public Prosecutors Office; The OM, commit mistakes in the "Dagvaarding"; (subpoenas). What is this foolishness that is going on in this country?

That means that now; The Authorities do not do their job but The Police do their job, and when they do their correctly job. They have to let them (the Chinese/criminals) go because when "the Process Verbaal" (Official report or trial) is airtight, you can't run away from it when The Authorities commit apparently simple errors in the "Dagvaarding"; (subpoenas) and this causes these people; (the Chinese/criminals) to be set free based on technicalities."

"The Big Chiefs (head of a criminal organization/VIP aka Very Influential/Important Person) are always set free. Furthermore, there is always political meddling, and in the report and investigation that was done by the Caribbean Forensic Services, you can see very clearly, that there is a lot of illegal permits. This is because, those permits were based on businesses that do not exist or, businesses that was not here or never existed, or businesses that are or were cancelled. So people, are then permitted to obtain work permits to get work and to stay and operate businesses that do not really exist."
