Willemstad, Curacao. In a brief interview with the President of The Curacao’s Chess Federation, Mr. Michell Fayad, JJosepha News asked a few initial questions to understand the significance of Curacao’s Chess Federation hosting the 8th CARIFTA Junior Chess Championships. However; the Chairman of the organizing committee for the 2019 CARIFTA Junior Chess Championship in Curacao; was completely unresponsive for publishing time, except for Michell Fayad’s commitment to answer follow-up questions.

It is consuming a lot of energy but until now it is going good.
We have between 100 rooms booked between Hilton and Hector Suites.
We were not able to accommodate all at The Hilton; they were completely booked out.
Trinidad and Tobago also has strong players.
The first rounds of the 7 round Championships, begins on Friday, April 19th 2019 and concludes on Monday April 23rd 2019.
Chess enthusiasts and the country are invited and welcome to come out and support the Curacao's Chess Federation and their participants, as well as to extend the "Korsou Kindness" to all the visiting participants, the eleven (11) Chess Federation, and their families; who came to Curacao; in support of their intellectual athletes in the strategic competition of Chess.
