DUTCH COAST GUARDS ARE ACTIVE

Willemstad, Curacao. According to the Dutch Coast Guard Caribbean (Kustwacht Caribisch Gebied), the Defense Caribbean Zr.Ms. Friesland has intercepted approximately 1900 kilograms of drugs in its last weeks.
DRUGS INTERCEPTION
According to the coast guard, the ship managed to force a so-called go-fast (speedboat) to stop three (3) times. This was the fifth, sixth and seventh drug catch for the Friesland in 2 months, with which the ship intercepted a total of 3880 kilograms of drugs. Since January 2022, Zr.Ms. Friesland is active in the region as a station ship in the Caribbean. Carrying out counter drug operations is thereby combined with supporting the Caribbean Coastguard
