During during the early morning hours, the Curacao Police Department (KPC) (Korps Politie Curacao), received information indicating that the employees at post office company noted that there was a robbery case at the office. THE ROBBERY Unknown people got inside the Curacao Post Office (CPO), by forcing themselves from the rooftop, using sophisticated machines, and achieved to penetrate the location. When they got inside the post office building, they went to one of the safety boxes and forced it open. They opened the safety box by using hydraulic equipment's that were stolen from one of Curacao's Fire Department (CFD). Reports indicated that the thieves got approximately fifty thousand guilders (50.000) from the small safety box.
