Willemstad, Curacao. January 23rd 2022. On January 20th 2022, Curacao Prime Minister: Mr. Gilmar "Pik" Pisas and Netherlands State Secretary: Mrs. Alexandra van Huffelen, of Kingdom Relations and Digitization organized a virtual meeting to discuss many topics regarding Curacao.

 

MEETING AND DISCUSSIONS

The virtual meeting was attended by the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister: Mrs. Ruthmilda Larmonie-Cecilia, the Finance Minister: Mr. Javier Silvania, and the Minister Plenipotentiary: Mr. Carlson Manuel.

The teams were introduced to each other during the meeting, and a transparent method of communication was prioritized. They addressed the latest COVID-19 developments, the Kingdom Council of Ministers, and suggestions and wishes for the National Package to assist people in need. These points will be further examined before the Kingdom Council of Ministers on February 4, to reach an agreement before the end of the month.
