Freeport, Bahamas. Hurricane Dorian has degraded by 1 category on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale with roughly greater than 20% drop in Maximum sustained wind speed and greater than 3% increase in minimum barometric pressure and remaining relatively stationary over Grand Bahama, Bahamas, as of the latest reports from the NHC of the USA NOAA.

LEGEND
  • (A) & (B) = Light Blue to Dark Blue = Light Hurricane Winds and conditions to Sub-difficult conditions
  • (C) = Green to Yellow to Orange = Heavy Hurricane winds and conditions to more severe hurricane conditions

WHERE IS DORIAN AND WHAT IS SHE DOING?
At 5:00 PM EDT on Monday, September 2nd 2019, Hurricane Dorian's Geo-position of 26.8°N 78.4°W. Hurricane Dorian first encountered the Bahamas with 185 mph maximum sustained winds at a Category 5 according to the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale, however; after more than 28 hours in the Bahamas the level has degraded to a Category 4 Hurricane with maximum sustained winds at 145 mph and roughly a 3% increase in barometric minimum pressure.

PRIME MINISTER OF THE BAHAMAS DR. HUBERT MINNIS UNSYMPATHETIC TO ABACOIANS DURING HURRICANE DORIAN'S LANDFALL AS THE PEOPLE CRIED FOR HELP...
Prime Minister Hubert A. Minnis; when asked by an Eyewitness news reporter what he was going to do to help the people in Abaco as they cried and begged for help, he responded to the reporter in a condescending and demeaning manner; "let me ask you, I'll ask you a simple question, winds of 180 mph, we are asked to go..., if I ask you tomorrow to go and rescue those people, would you go?" He then continued; "Oh! OK! Well! I don't think anybody that FOOL to go out there!"

It was unconfirmed if US President Donald Trump, offered assistance after the unsympathetic response by the Bahamas Prime Minister; Dr. Minnis to help rescue Abacoians, but US Troops were at the door steps ready and willing to go into the face of danger of Hurricane Dorian to rescue the cries of stranded Bahamians, after the Bahamas Prime Minister made his unsympathetic response to the Eyewitness reporter.

BAHAMIANS TALK OF THEIR HURRICANE DORIAN EXPERIENCES
Carol C.; a Grand Bahamian resident commented; "You see Abaco is Hubert Ingraham's area with Hubert Ingraham's people, and he was the former prime minister of the Bahamas and leader of the FNM until. Hubert Ingraham crave the path for Hubert Minnis to become an MP and eventually Prime Minister of the Bahamas after a disappointing loss to PLP Perry Christie; an old law partner and former friend from PLP days. So there was a lot of history when Minnis forced Ingraham to step down as an ineffective leader unable to take the party any further, according to sources".

Carol continued; "no matter what the beef is they all Bahamians, we all Bahamians, and it is just petty politics to leave those people in Abaco crying for help and do nothing about it, and look in the background was Marvin Dames, them two people don't have a heart for the Bahamian people and many Bahamians suffer under them two and this is just another example. Imagine President Trump who they say hate black people had his US troops there to help the Bahamian people crying for rescue".

Furthermore, JJosephaNews has discovered reports that Ingraham has openly objected about some decisions and leadership paths that PM Minnis is taking to lead the country, including a non-step in decriminalization of Marijuana; which former Prime Minister Ingraham is in favor of.
Minister of Agriculture and Marco City MP for The Free National Movement (FNM) who lives on Grand Bahama; Michael Pintard; commented on the sea swells reaching at least 20 feet, as the waves and water pounding into his home on the Canal in Grand Bahama.

Other Bahamian residents have submitted videos of sea swells penetrating their homes in Grand Bahama and Abaco with disastrous home and vehicle damages and destruction.

Strong winds blew off roof tops and water inundated buildings as far up as the second story of buildings in some areas and now that the hurricane is moving at snail pace, over Freeport more damages, missing people and death may be expected.

So far 5 out of 6 people have been confirmed as dead by The Bahamas Ministry of Health during the first 24 hours of Hurricane Dorian and still 2 more are presumed missing.

Some people believe that architectural design changes maybe a starting point to prevent some of the catastrophes from natural disasters in the Bahamas.

MODEL TRAJECTORY FOR DORIAN
Some models project Hurricane Dorian's trajectory to move west-north westerly coming near Florida and continuing up the coast along pass Georgia and up the Carolina's dissipating in strength but causing possible sand dune erosion/displacement along its path.

FLORIDA GOVERNOR SHOWS HOW TO BE PREPARED AS A LESSON LEARNT TO THE BAHAMAS PM
It was reported that Governor Ron DeSantis spoke with President Trump earlier in the morning about the state’s preparedness for Hurricane Dorian possible encounter and the latest updates on "Florida vs. Dorian" preparation from Governor Ron DeSantis's office included :
  • 21 Urban Search & Rescue Task Forces in ready and start mode activated.
  • 25 Special Needs shelters open to assist in Hurricane relief.
  • 85 General Needs shelters open to assist in Hurricane relief.
  • 93 nursing homes and assisted living facilities along the east coast have been evacuated.
  • 4,562 responding Soldiers and Airmen to assist activated.
  • 32,000 Spectrum WiFi hotspots by Charter Communications, Inc. open to all users.

DORIAN'S TRAJECTORY COULD DOUBLE BACK AND HIT GRAND BAHAMA AGAIN?
However; it is probably likely that Dorian may continue to slowly move towards Florida and up the coast and then doubling back to hit Grand Bahama for a second time.
