Willemstad, Curacao. Member of Parliament for the opposition party Korsou di Nos Tur (KdNT) and party leader; Amparo dos Santos, for the second (2nd) time has sent a letter to the President of Parliament; William Millerson (political party PAR) to start an investigation against Curacao member of Parliament; Rennox Calmes (political party PIN).

Amparo dos Santos demanded from Curacao's Parliament President, William Millerson; to start an investigation on his colleague parliamentarian; Rennox Calmes; because it was reported that last year, Rennox Calmes arranged processes to travel to a traffic fair in The Netherlands for a working visit on behalf of the island of Curacao Parliament. It appears that Calmes flew to London at the taxpayers expense without visiting the traffic fair in the Netherlands.

Curasalenos have questioned and asked:
1.) Why did he travel to London and for what business was he doing on behalf of Curacao in London?
2.) Did he attend the Traffic Fair in the Netherlands, for which he used taxpayers money for?
3.) Did he really visited London in place of going to the Traffic Fair in Netherlands & provide the proof?
4.) What did he used the taxpayers money for to do if he did not attend the Traffic Fair in Netherlands?
5.) Who paid for his trip to London and the expenses involved in his stay?
6.) Did Suzy Camelia-Romer know of his travel plans to not attend the Traffic Fair? and did she corrected him not to go?
7.) Who else in his political party PIN knew of his intended travel plans?
Rennox Calmes, Suzy Camelia-Romer and the executives of the Political Party PIN need to provide an answer immediately to us, the people of Curacao, according to a group input in Otrobanda

After Mr. Amparo dos Santos demanded Millerson to investigate Calmes, Millerson said that he cannot investigate Calmes case. Amparo dos Santos demanded that Millerson do more to prevent taxpayers money from being wasted.

Rennox Calmes is a former police officer, who has been on the list of various political parties; like; Frente Obrero Liberashon (FOL) and Kousa Promé (KP) for the 2016 Curacao National Election in the past. When PIN political party leader; Suzanne (Suzy) Camelia-Römer; former member of political party PNP; launched her political party for the 2017 Curacao National Election, she called for a block against "criminalizing politics".

Camelia-Römer, former prime minister of the Netherlands Antilles, and former minister of justice and economic affairs for five islands.
When Suzy Camelia-Römer launched her political party PIN on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017, she said; "it is impossible that someone who is convicted of, or suspected of, has a seat in parliament or holds a ministerial post or is even active in politics.
If you are suspected of criminal offenses, then you withdraw, awaiting trial. This is how it has always been within the PNP.
If someone became discredited, then that person distanced himself. You must accept the consequences of your actions.
If someone deals a blow in parliament, then that person must resign. And a politician who is convicted does not belong in parliament.
The fact that we accept the participation of a convicted person, have started to find it normal, is at odds with the legal responsibility of the board".

It is Suggested these words were towards Curacao former Prime Minister; Gerrit Fransisco Schotte (political party MFK) (former member of political party FOL and MAN), who was convicted for bribery, forgery and money laundering; both in the court of the first instance and in the appellate court, and is now serving a three (3) year prison sentence.

JJosephaNews have tried to get in contact with Mr. Rennox Calmes's political party leader, who is currently, Curacao's Minister of Health, Environment and Nature; Suzanne (Suzy) Camelia-Römer, to get her feedback and opinion on the matter and what must be done to stop parliamentarians or anyone else from abusing, misusing and mismanaging  Curacao's taxpayers money.

By the time of this publication, we had not received any response from Suzy Römer.
