JOE BIDEN RUNNING FOR THE US 2020 PRESIDENCY

Willemstad, Curacao. Former US Vice President, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. announced Thursday April 25th, 2019, that he would seek the Democratic nomination to challenge and win against US President, Donald J Trump in the 2020 election. Apparently Biden believe that the 2020 election is a national emergency.

WHO IS JOSEPH ROBINETTE BIDEN JR?

Biden spent 36 years as a senator. 

Mr. Biden has two previous presidential bids, in 1988 and 2008. 

Joseph R. Biden Jr. was a two-term vice president for the presidency of Barack Obama (as democrats).

Now his leading status in the Democratic primary will be contested by the democratic party itself.

BIDEN ANNOUNCEMENT

Biden had a 3.5 minutes video, where he focused on criticizing President Donald Trump, Biden is presenting himself as a change maker and leader for a country where political conflict appears to be an issue. 

In the video, Biden laid out why he wanted to run for president. Biden talked about the 2017 US white supremacist march through Charlottesville, Va., which ended in bloodshed, also the President Trump comment that there were "very fine people on both sides." Biden said in the video "In that moment, "I knew the threat to our nation was unlike any I’d ever seen in my lifetime."

Biden would like to focus on "economic dignity" as an organizing concept for the 2020 campaign tactic to debate President Trump.

Biden also said to the US people that; "We are in the battle for the soul of this nation,"

It appears that Biden beliefs that if President Trump is re-elected the US wont be the same, by saying; "He will forever and fundamentally alter the character of this nation, who we are, and I cannot stand by and watch that happen."

Biden stated; "My North Star of what we’re going to talk about, in terms of the economy, is restoring the middle class, but looking at dignity, not just the G.D.P."

OTHER DEMOCRATS IN THE 2020 RACE

The US is making history by having a list of 20 Democratic candidates, that is the first time the US has a greatly diversifying presidential field.

Currently Biden is leading the Polls to lead and be the Democratic front runner with an average leading of 6 points when compared to other Democratic candidates, like Bernard Sanders.

After Biden announced his presidential candidacy, a question was asked, Is the US former President, Barack Obama supporting Joe Biden to be the Democratic party front runner and leader?
