Willemstad, Curacao. In 2003; Dr. Nagy Bakir was convicted of sexual assault in the Netherlands and received a 6 month suspension, and was later dismissed by Netherlands Medical Disciplinary Court, and after; his conviction in Netherlands, he translocated to Curacao.

Ten years later, in 2013, again; complaints were filed, this time with the Curacao’s Public Health Inspectorate office against Dr. Nagy Bakir, accusing him of sexual assault by some of his colleagues and several of his patients.

The Healthcare Inspector; Joe Alcalá; was informed of Dr. Nagy Bakir’s Sexual assault case but did nothing about it; for more than a year; after the sexual assault complaints were filed by both, Dr. Nagy Bakir’s colleagues, as well as; allegedly by some of his patients.

After the replacement of; Joe Alcalá, the new Health Inspector; Gersji Rodrigues Pereira, continued the same attitude of inaction and failure to investigate Dr. Nagy Bakir's sexual assault allegations made by some of his colleagues as well as some of his patients.

Presently, the Curacao government of Prime Minister; Eugene Rhuggenaath along with his Minister of Health Susanne Camelia-Römer, allegedly has not done absolutely anything neither to protect its curacao citizens and tourist from this allegedly sexual predator, neither; something as little as filing any charges of criminal obstruction and accomplice to a crime, for the grievous miscarriage of justice; that has been perpetrated by all of the former Chief Health Inspectors; of Michael Mourillon, Gersji Rodrigues Pereira and Health Inspector; Joe Alcalá.

HEALTHCARE PROTECTIONISM AND ELITISTS COLLUSION IN CURACAO?

Allegedly; former Health Inspector; Gersji Rodrigues Pereira and Dr. Nagy Bakir at that time were “very good friends with a benefit”, and that could have been the reason that neither the inspectors nor the government acted immediately. Action towards The Adventist Hospital and Dr. Nagy Bakir ultimately followed only after the new inspector, Dr. Jan Huurman, in 2017, returned.

Dr. Nagy Bakir, a specialist in internal medicine at the Adventist Hospital, must appear before the disciplinary judge in the coming week.

The Minister of Health, Suzanne Camelia-Römer, and The Minister of Justice, Quincy Girigorie, have not made any public position on the case of sexual abuse against Dr. Nagy Bakir’s Colleagues and his patients or possibly as well Foreign and US medical students at Avalon University.

Apparently Minister of Health, Suzanne Camelia-Römer, has suspended the serving Chief Health Inspector, Dr. Jan Huurman, who left his post in 2013 under Pueblo Soberano’s Prime Minister Ben Whitman. Allegedly; Chief Health Inspector Jan Huurman; may know something more about this case of sexual assault by Dr. Nagy Bakir, but allegedly he is being silenced and moved out of the public ears.

At the time of publishing, JJosepha News had reached out to Minister Suzanne Camelia-Römer, but she was unreachable. JJosepha News attempted to contact former Prime Minister and former Minister of Health; Dr. Ben Whitman as well as former Minister of Health; Siegfried Victorina, but with no result.

JJosepha News contacted The Office of The Prime Minister; Mr. Eugene Rhuggenaath, but his communication secretary failed to reply back.

JJosepha News attempted to contact Avalon University School of Medicine President; (SOM), for comments, but was meet with little assistance. JJosepha News also attempted to get feedback from the Student Body Council but were unable to get corroborating data on possibly past and potential cases of sexual assault, harassment or abuse by Dr. Nagy Bakir; Internist / Nephrologist, Professor of Clinical skills and MD5 preceptor and Assistant Dean of Clinical Sciences in Avalon University SOM in Curacao.
