Willemstad, Curacao. Pfizer Chief Executive Officer: Mr. Albert Bourla commented about the Omicron variant in an interview with Yahoo Finance on January 10th,2022, in which he said: "We know that the two doses of a vaccine offer very minimal protection, if any." Mr. Bourla's comments has sparked an avalanche of criticism interpreted as if the Pfizer vaccines were inutile against COVID-19 in general.

 

NEW COVID19 VACCINE

Pfizer is working on a new version of the vaccine, according to Mr. Albert Bourla. At J.P. Morgan's annual healthcare conference, Mr. Bourla; a guest speaker; revealed that Pfizer and BioNTech are working on an Omicron variant vaccine, as well as a shot that would comprise both the previous vaccination and one targeting the highly infectious variant. Current COVID-19 vaccinations may need to be upgraded to ensure that they are effective against Omicron and future strains, according to specialists and virologists.
