SAME SEX MARRIAGE IN CURACAO

Last year, both parliamentarians announced that they had the intention to legalize same sex marriage on Wilhelminaplein after Curacao Gay pride.
It is unknown how much support the bill has in the Curacao parliament to proceed with the bill, then having the Governor; Lucille George-Wout's; signature it, to pass it into law, after being published in the national gazette after a period of time without contest from the population.
According to an Eu-NeoClassical Liberalist; as for this and any proposed bill becoming into law in Curacao; the Curacao community still has a final say in the laws passed in the country. If the Curacao community OPPOSES any proposed bill via discussions thru their MP's and thru the various political parties in parliament; as well as though political parties fighting for a seat in The Staten van Curacao; aka Curacao's Parliament, or possibly a last chance to change parliaments unconscious decision to fulfill the will of people of Curacao; via a populous write-in protest at publication; according to provisions of statue and laws.
In accordance to constitutional law; such an action could negate or send it to the judicial courts for a decision and thereafter thru international instruments to procure the will of the people! That is truly exercising and educating the people of Curacao to be the real determinate of their own future; that's real Eu-NeoClassical Liberalism*.
Several religious leaders have expressed their concerns towards legalizing same sex marriage on the island.
We will keep you up-to-date; as parliament voices their decision and weighs in on this proposed bill by MAN MP; Giselle McWilliams and PAR-MP; Stephen Walroud; who have now claimed and owned; the proposed same sex marriage laws in Curacao; as; "The Giselle McWilliams-Walroud Homosexual Marriage Law; ["G-MacWall WHM Law"]"!
