Willemstad, Curacao. Steven Martina; resigned as Curacao’s Minister of Economy amid an investigation into his action with the Guardian group Dutch Caribbean.
STEVEN MARTINA’S ROAD TO FOLLOW INTO THE FOOTSTEPS OF HIS FATHER; FORMER MINISTER; DON MARTINA
Steven Martina was proposed by the defunct leader; Alex Rosario and his defunct political party; "Partido pa Adelanto I Inovashon Soshal"; (PAIS) in the interim cabinet of professionals. Steven served as Minister of Economic Development and Vice Prime Minister in the "interim cabinet of professionals" spearheaded by Daniel Hodge as Prime Minister; for 158 days before being dumped for Stanley Palm (PAIS), who was eventually replaced by Eugene Rhuggenaath (PAR).
Daniel Hodge was a Helmin Wiels “suggested” appointee, and a banker; who apparently became a supporter/member of the political party MAN.
After the political party; MAN & PAR took the majority of seats in the 2017 National General Election for Parliament SVC-6 session, Steven Martina was appointed almost 3 months later by Rhuggenaath as again, a minister of economy in the Rhuggenaath cabinet.
Former minister of Curacao's economy, Steven Martina stayed in office almost 4 times longer than he previously did before having to leave his cabinet position again!
STEVEN MARTINA’S PERFORMANCE AS MINISTER OF ECONOMY GRADED NOT THE PRIMARY REASON FOR HIS RESIGNATION
Former Minister of Economy, Steven Martina has had a troubled term which at no point seemed as though he had controlled of an initial previous Rhuggenaath Economy. There were the failing deals that haunted him from Hotels being closed and not being effectively negotiated for re-sale, a lackluster growth of the economy, a humongous debt from the construction of the Hospital Nobo and then a proposed plan to issue bonds to service debt, a $18.6 Million USD loan to Insel Air with about 175 people losing their jobs from Insel Air. The rise in debt to 60% of the national GDP in 2017 and a 2018 estimated debt increase to 63% to 68.3% of the national GDP, in addition a "lobe-sided seesaw" budget along with Curacao's unemployment rate growing like Shaquille O'Neal's appetite at puberty.
A Punda Political insider at the time of Martina's resignation from office, said; "Martina inherited an ugly economy thanks to Rhuggenaath, and then he was not able to do the job, thanks God he was removed before he sank Curacao any further in debt and back into colonization by Netherlands. I would give Steven Martina; an "F+", Susan Camelia-Romer; an "F-" and Eugene Rhuggenaath an "F", "triple F". Did you see how mad Susan Romer looked; her face was really worried like is she the next one to go? But Susan and Eugene relationship to deep, if 1 goes so does the other, then new elections".
IS THIS COINCIDENCE OR PROVIDENCE?
At the footstep of former Public Prosecution Office spokesman, Norman Serphos investigation and dismissal, comes Martina's official resignation as minister of economy, but not for his lackluster performance to stimulate the economy but from an criminal investigation filed by the political party KdNT, not recently but for some time ago.
KdNT SPEAKS OUT AND ASKED “WHY NOW, SINCE THEY FILED THE COMPLAINT FROM SOME TIME ALREADY…
Carlos Monk, a member of KdNT; said; “Steven should have known better because he is a professional and anything that you do, you should read it through and know what you can and can not do”.
Monk went on to state that; “Steven had shares in FATUM (A Dutch Caribbean group Guardian Insurance company), and he was involved in participating in the decision making process for the company FATUM, he was not suppose to sign papers either and his coalition partner; PAR betrayed him for having him involved at that level”.

Is this coincidence or the beginning stages of “Operation Erase Era” much like attempts to find Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath’s comment to “Street language response” to the Refinery workers.
Carlos Monk further stated that; “Also his coalition partners allowed him to go thru the process of dealing with the company, FATUM, when they knew he was not suppose to, and not even Susi and the coalition told him what he was suppose to do”.
WHAT ABOUT KdNT’S LEADER ALLEGATION ABOUT SUSI ROMER?
In 2018, the leader of KdNT; Miro Amparo dos Santos made claims with apparent allegations against Suzy Camelia-Romer, Leader of the Political Party PIN and Minister of Health, Environment & Nature in the Rhuggenaath cabinet, that she was collecting pension and salary and apparently showed evidential documents of her receipt of collection such funds. Maybe now that Norman Serphos is gone the allegations will come to surface and be dealt with.
If it is found to be truthful and criminal, Amparo’s claims, then another reshuffling is bound to be in order for the Rhuggenaath Cabinet and the one time ago Netherland Antilles Prime Minister; might be “joining Gerrit Schotte sharing a meal together”.
Mr. Miro Amparo dos Santos was not able to be reached for current remarks regarding his comments or the retraction of it.
WHERE THERE IS ONE MOUSE, THERE IS BOUND TO BE MUCH MORE
A Salinja resident in Otrobanda, stated; it's a coincidence, but now that Norman Serphos is gone from the public prosecution Office what other charges and criminal complaints were presented and were probably set aside, buried or dismissed and never to be heard of again? That's injustice; and the powerful rule with an iron fist. The Otrobanda resident exclaimed that she had contacted the OM office complaining about a dutch lawyer that had her family member sexual harassed by her workers and that the dutch lawyer abused her human rights, but nothing came out of it, the OM said to go to the police and the police said to go to the OM and at the end of it the dutch lawyer had her lawyers friends to intentionally deceived the justice system. Hopefully, Netherlands is catching up on all the complaints and wrongdoing going on in our country that was being hidden by people in powerful positions.

Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath said; “We came to support our colleague; Steven Martina. I hope all citizen who want to give support don't be discouraged”!
