SPAIN GOVERNMENT HELPS UKRAINE

Willemstad, Curacao. April 11th, 2022. According to the Spain Government: "The Ministry of Health has sent a new shipment for health care and humanitarian aid in the war in Ukraine." The shipment departed on Monday, April 11th, 2022 ( from the facilities of the Military Defense Pharmacy Centre at the San Pedro Military Base in Colmenar Viejo, belonging to the Ministry of Defense.
THE BATCHES
These batches were made up entirely of donations from the National Health System (SNS), through the National Institute for Health Management (INGESA), which is responsible for coordinating humanitarian aid shipments, facilitating bureaucratic procedures and authorizations, and collaboration and coordination with the other institutions involved.
THE SHIPMENT
A total of 98 pallets were included in the shipment, which contained more than 1.5 million (1,549,522) units of medicines totaling more than 50 tones of humanitarian aid.
This new batch is in addition to the previous ones sent by the Ministry of Health with aid that included donations from the Guardia Civil, the Autonomous Governments and the Ministry of Health's own Strategic Reserve. The sum of these previous shipments amounted to 64 pallets, with a load of almost 19,000 kilos valued at 1,161,542 euros.
