COVID-19 IMPACT ON CURACAO

Willemstad, Curacao. On January 11th 2022, the USA Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has designated Curacao as a high-risk country to travel. That happened after of the increase of new COVID infections on the island last week.
RISK ASSESMENT LEVEL FOR COVID-19
The Dutch Caribbean islands of Aruba and Curacao have moved to level 4, the highest warning level in the Covid-19 travel advisory system, which advises Americans not to come to Curacao on vacation. The CDC advice also applies to travelers on cruise ships. If American tourists do want to come, CDC advises to "Avoid travel to these destinations. If you must travel to these destinations, make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel".

COVID-19 CASES IN CURACAO
On January 1st the government informed that Curacao had 9.220 active cases and 30 patients hospitalized.
