Willemstad, Curacao. Minnesota Republican Legislators hold a press conference (August 6th 2019) calling for Minnesota Department of Revenue and the IRS to investigate a alleged illegal tax filing status and other tax fraud of Democrat Representative Ilhan Abdullahi Omar (Ilhan Omar).

In 2016, Ilhan became the first Somali-American, Muslim legislator in the United States.

Ilhan Omar was elected in 2018 to serve the people of Minnesota's fifth Congressional district. Omar is affiliated with the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and has a liberal political view.
