Willemstad, Curacao. On January 31 2019 the Curacao Prosecutor's Office (OM); said that gangs in Curacao committed theft and exploded an automated teller machine (ATM).

GANG MENTALITY
The OM stated: "Heavy penalties will be demanded by the OM. Curacao is plagued by gangs who commit or are involved in thievery. These gangs do not seem to think about what punishment they will receive by the judge."

WHAT IS THE FIRST STEP TO A TERRORIST ATTACK?
The OM explained; "This is not only about stealing and committing crimes, but they will be accused of causing EXPLOSIONS that endanger goods and people."

PENALTY FOR EXPLOSIONS
The OM continued; "A four-year prison sentence is quickly imposed in the Netherlands. Punishments on Curacao will most likely not deviate much from that. It doesn't stop there. If you are caught, then the possible sum of money taken away and the damage to buildings and interiors, for example, must be paid back. Replacement custody is hereby imposed. This quickly rises to an extra three years in prison."

TERRORISM IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE?
In the US 2017 Country Report on Terrorism;
Chapter 1. Country Reports; Western Hemisphere BUREAU OF COUNTERTERRORISM AND COUNTERING VIOLENT EXTREMISM
It say:
"Foreign terrorist fighter travel from the Western Hemisphere to Iraq and Syria virtually stopped in 2017, as heightened awareness of the threat led to tighten border security. However, Canada, and to a lesser extent, the Caribbean – particularly Trinidad and Tobago – had previously been significant per capita sources of foreign terrorist fighters and the potential return of these trained individuals remains of great concern."

RECENT TERRORISM
This week, at Rotterdam the Netherlands, a 30 year old Curasaleno (born in Curacao) Dutch citizen was convicted for presumably selling and supplying ammunition to a terrorist organization called “IS.”
The terrorist organization, apparently wanted to use the ammunition during the European Championship in France.
It was not proven for sure that he knew about the attack but the verdict after deduction of custody came up as result that he will go to jail for 30 months.

CURACAO CORNER
A Banda Bou fisherman from Curacao commented; “Look, 30 months for selling ammunition to terrorist organizations? You making your money back off sales after 30 months, so it is a business that people may consider at such stupid and low penalty.”
“If I sell my fish illegally without the health ministry permission, I would probably get higher penalty and I work hard to feed my 5 children and wife, and my two sweethearts!”

JJosephaNews then asked, “what would your wife say if she knew you have two sweethearts?”
The fisherman responded: “I am just joking about the sweethearts, I am a Christian, I go to the Catholic Church in Otrobanda”
“But I serious about the 5 children, the economy is bad, at this time!”
