Willemstad, Curacao. 2018 in US political history can be referred to as the Year of the women, there were 183 women nominees for the US House of Representatives and 11 women Nominees for Governor. At the end of the electoral race in 2018, there were 90 new people who were elected to serve as public servants. #Americas1stBlackFemaleVP !
RECENT HISTORY - WHAT WAS NEVER TRIED...
Two years previously; in 2016, The US Democratic party presented the first Female Presidential Candidate; Hillary Clinton; who had previously carried the badge of First Lady, Secretary of State and Senator. However; in 2008; John McCain took the republican female Alaskan governor; Sarah Palin; as his vice-presidential; in a bid against the first African-American democratic presidential candidate, Barack Obama.
In 1984, Ferraro was the first woman vice-presidential nominee of a major U.S. party. Geraldine Anne Ferraro, was named by Walter F. Mondale, Democratic Presidential Candidate; as his choice for the vice-presidency. The Democrats lost that election!
HISTORY -THE ANNALS OF TRUTH
In 1872, Victoria Claflin Woodhull of Ohio at about 34 years old, became the first woman to run for The United States Presidency. Victoria was the candidate of the Equal Rights Party and she competed against Ulysses S. Grant; "Republican", and Horace Greeley; "Democrat". Victoria campaigned for women’s rights and founded her own newspaper.

Of the 24 elected African-American candidates on the democratic leadership list, ranging in age from 33 to 84 years old and being involved at the representative or gubernatorial level there was a range of almost 43 years in experience from senior to freshman representatives.

The top ten list of African-american favorites to combine with Joe Biden, when he enters the 2020 US Presidential Elections are the following:
#1. Lauren Underwood#2. Lisa Blunt Rochester
#3. Michelle LaVaughn Obama
#4. Val Demings
#5. Lucy McBath
#6. Kamala Harris
#7. Robin Kelly
#8. Eddie Bernice Johnson
#9. Yvette Clarke
#10. Terri Sewell
This may be the democrats chance for possibly a 8 to 16 year control on the Oval Office, that would change US Politics, US History and US Diplomacy should Joe Biden enter the 2020 US presidential race without the presence of a third party involvement. Maybe after 36 years from the first time a woman was selected as vice-presidential, this may be the first time that an African-American woman would be given such a proud privilege and based on the qualifications of most, it would seem a very good deal that Joe Biden may not be too fortunate to overlook!
Don't you think one of these women may have deserved or earned a chance, after a history of 400 plus years of suppression, repression and oppression, and two previous attempts at the vice presidency and 1 previously for presidency by women?
