After reading this post you would understand the Keto diet and may want to start losing weight with the help of your doctor.
The Keto diet is a diet for low-carb high-fat diet. It offers diverse health benefits.
Apparently it can help you lose weight and improve your health. Many claim that the keto diet (Ketogenic diets) may have benefits to fight diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy and cancer.
It is said that it drastically reduce carbohydrate intake and replace it with fat. This reduction in carbohydrate will put your body in a metabolic state, that is called ketosis state.

What is ketosis state?
As you search on google for the word “ketosis” it explain quote “a metabolic state characterized by raised levels of ketone bodies in the body tissues, which is typically pathological in conditions such as diabetes, or may be the consequence of a diet that is very low in carbohydrates.” end quote
When this effect happen, your body is suppose to becomes immensely efficient at burning fat for body energy. It turns fat into ketones in your liver, this supply energy for your brain.
The diet can cause your blood sugar and your insulin level to reduce.
I have notice that there are numerous versions of the ketogenic diet, like:
  1. High protein keto diet: it has high protein with a average ratio of 60% fat, 35% protein and 5% carbs.
  2. Cyclical keto diet: This diet has periods of high carbohydrate re-feed, people has 5 ketogenic days followed by 2 high carbohydrate days.
    There is more, I just showed you 2 of them.

Even though it is said that Keto diet allows you to lose weight with efficiency, I would advise you to consult a specialist and your doctor before taking any type of health related decision.
